Automated Terrain Analysis

Terrain significantly impacts military operations, but analyzing terrain is laborious. Our software automates this analysis using high-resolution digital terrain models. Visibility analysis identifies dead space where enemies could hide undetected. Mobility analysis shows which areas are passable for different vehicle types, revealing mobility corridors. Slope analysis highlights ideal positions for weapon systems. Elevation profiles assist in planning air assaults and artillery firing positions. All analysis products are georeferenced and overlaid on planning maps, enabling planners to immediately incorporate terrain into their decisions.

Course of Action Development

Doctrine requires developing multiple courses of action (COAs) for comparison. Our software's sketch-based planning interface enables rapid COA creation: planners draw unit movements, engagement areas, control measures, and support positions directly on the map.
